After getting TC to work (kept dying on launch, till I deleted my TC folder and let the launcher rebuild it from scratch), I tried a T7 duty mission last night, void fighters (figured it wouldn't be too hard).
They are challenging, in a good way. Even an npc dunelizard is flipping around fairly fast and trying to take shots on you. And they hurt, like a WO3 or 4 Borstel RE, possibly a RE L7 boltdriver. Either case, shields don't last long if you let them shoot you while you focus on the other NPCs. The rihk was probably not the best choice, but it was one of the few ships I had on TC and I couldn't find the frogs.
I died in the boss round of the first set of waves (well, engine dead, ejected). Its no longer just one wave of one ship for the "boss". I got a single YT1300, which I quickly realized I needed to gun target if I was going to win. And these YTs move, more agile than the Falcon in RotJ, and fast. You can only outrun them with boosters, and after that they are on your tail. I thought I had won by killing it, but then two more spawned. Could only disarm one before I took too much component damage.
