So I've got my new x52 (not pro), an ATI 5770, and I'm going off call at 11am (hoping for some comp time this afternoon). Don't mind me, Just writing to think about something besides ECG's and Cardiac studies.

Anyways, I remapped the yaw and roll axis to be the swg defaults instead of the more realistic (ie, realistic is twist = yaw, l/r axis = roll). More testing is required, but even though I find that mapping to be intellectually backwards, the limited dog fighting I got in on Sunday seemed to work better. Weird. Of course, I've lost the ability to be as smooth of an escort as I used to be. Apparently time to think instead of react leads to worse flying

The kicker, 77th wise, is I figured all this out on my new alt (another one?!?!), EvilKernel, who seeks to bring balance to the Radiant space scene. I know y'all are feeling that loss heavily :p And apparently, whoever did the Storm Squadron articles for the SWG Wikia, didn't feel the need to note when you'll need to do duty missions and whatnot for xp. So I'll be updating that.

Anyways, on a typical, what can you do for me, type angle, anyone got any architech/shipwright tips besides swgcraft.org, spaceloot, and swg aide? Though tbh, I don't think I've seen mention of SWG Aide anywhere before. If you're harvesting stuff and currently make use of swgcraft.org, swg aide is a java program you can run locally to keep track of current spawns and harvesters. I find it a little easier to grok than the swgcraft.org site itself.
